❖      One of the teachers requests Swamis for a set of messages that would help students, who have not seen Swami in physical form, to experience divinity.

▪       Please see the see the transcript on page 17 of  19^th May – Swami’s farewell speech.

✓      Swami: It is the greatest responsibility of all those who have seen Me and experienced Me while I was in the body, that the same Love and experience they must spread to the others, through their own life.

❖      Professor: There will be a lot of questions from my students, colleagues, friends, and family, as to what I have experienced here. I seek your advice in this regard, Swami.

✓      Swami: Tell fearlessly what you have experienced. If there is a mistake, only then there has to be fear. There is no mistake, so there is no scope for fear. Tell what your heart has witnessed… rest on page 18 – farewell speech.

❖      Devotee: Swami, every Avatar has some purpose. Sathya Sai Baba, when He was in physical form, there was a purpose, and it was to spread Love, and we all have experienced that Love. There are questions in our mind, that in this Form, what is Swami’s purpose?

✓      Swami: The purpose that was there, whether I was in body or not the body is just the same. It has not changed……rest on pages 19 & 20.

✓      This is a very important piece. Swami explains what made him give up His body and what is the most important purpose of his avatar as- transformation of the human heart.

❖      Student: Swami, how can I control my mind and ego?

✓      Swami: tells a china katha, the story of a factory and the son of the owner of the factory, to illustrate how to over come ego. See pages 21 & 22 of the farewell speech.

PREFACE

Sairam to one and all.

Before I was brought to the physical presence of Swami (Bahgavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba), God was a concept to me, in spite of all the knowledge I had about God. God is omniscient and so one can prey form anywhere, any time and for anything. Being omnipotent, He can grant our prayer and can punish for our sinful acts. Yet chose to pray always in front of an idol or a photo and always for mundane cravings.

Once in physical of proximity of the Swami, God became a reality. I could see, talk, touch, and experience His love, and all the attributes associated with God. Life and the relationship with God gained an entirely new meaning and purpose. In spite of being aware of His omnipresence, omniscience and omnipotence every moment, the life was inseparably intertwined with the physical form. When He dropped His physical body (deham) on 24 April 2011, like many other devotees, I was also swinging between the two states of mind; one of confidence and assurance based on His omnipresent form and the other, the agony of missing the physical form and the confusion goes with it. Though very much aware of His presence from the protection provided by Him and by the fulfillment of our prayers and needs, yet was not sure of the ‘from’ He is in. It was mixed state; He was there yet He was not.

This continued for two year. Out His compassion, He chose to reveal to me ( and many others) in His chosen subtle-body ( suukshma sarira – as Swami refers to) through a series of events which finally resulted in taking me and my wife to Kodaikanal during May 11- 20, 2014. All that happened there emphasized that He is in a form, which I can neither see nor hear but He was there in front of me, looking and listening to me. Whenever He wanted, He used ‘M’ as the media to convey His words. I also learnt that He is now healthy, younger looking as He was in 1980’s, a form we loved so much. During the stay He convinced us that He will continue in this form the remaining part of His avatharic mission for the remaining period. While Swami is in the ‘final phase’ of His mission, I am in the third phase of being with God; fist as a concept, next as O³-Lord (omnipresent, omnipotent and omniscient) with a physical from and now O³-Lord with from but nobody. Life and my relationship with Swami now have an entirely different meaning - a joy and assurance that I enjoyed when He was physically there.

When I asked Swami about sharing my experience with others His answer was:

“Tell fearlessly what you have experienced. If there is a mistake, only then there has to be fear. There is no mistake, so there is no scope for fear. Tell what your heart has witnessed. For those who ask sincerely, ask with feeling, let them know that there is a way to experience Swami still, and that is through the path of humility and open-mindedness. If somebody is humble and broad-minded, definitely he will understand. There is no point in chanting Vedas to buffaloes. They will not understand anything. Teach them to those who will understand. For the others, silence is the best answer.

I have therefore, created this blog and put whatever the material that was at my disposal with the idea of sharing with all my Sai-borhters and Sai-sisters. Sairam. May this by His grace bring joy, confidence and enlightenment in your lives.

“If there were circumstances in which I could have stayed in the physical body, I would have continued to do the same things. There would not have been any change.”

“Unfortunately, for loka kalyana, for the benefit of the world, Swami underwent a lot of trouble. There is a law of karma, like the rules of a game.”

“Out of My compassion, a lot of the karma of these devotees, I took upon Myself.”

“Every time you write to Me saying, “Swami cure me of this, save me from that,” all these what you had to suffer, somebody in the Universe has to suffer. That is what I underwent, which made Me give away that old car much sooner than I desired. However, I continue in this new car towards the same destination for which I had started, right since the beginning of time. The destination is the transformation of human into Divine. Don’t ever think it is only opening educational institutions under the name Sathya Sai, or opening medical facilities under the name Sathya Sai, or giving drinking water only under the name Sathya Sai….”

“It is the greatest responsibility of all those who have seen Me and experienced Me while I was in the body, that the same Love and experience they must spread to the others, through their own life. This is a great responsibility that we must all decide to shoulder, and that is all Bhagawan expects – to live the Message, not talk the Message.”

 “This is a very, very sacred, very unique time in the history of mankind, where One Spirit is moving on into the other. Soon, Bhagawan’s Mission will grow, expand and reach all the corners of the world, and the New Avatar, Bhagawan will come back physically, for those who crave for it, as the new Avatar, as another Sai Avatar, very shortly. And as long as you have this faith that Bhagawan is with you, you shall all participate in the Mission which will continue from this Avatar to the next.”
